Philly’s Affordable Omakase and Hand Roll Bar

Fresh Flavors, Innovative Style, Neighborhood Vibes

Yuhiro Sushi is Fishtown’s affordable Omakase experience. A 90-minute, 12-course curated meal featuring seasonally rotating premium fish, for only $68. Enjoy a fresh spin on a traditional Japanese tasting menu, or head over to our Hand Roll bar for a unique experience.

What is a Hand Roll? A ‘classic’ hand roll is fresh fish or vegetables and seasoning, rolled tight a crispy piece of nori and dipped in soy. Our premium U-Maki are open-faced rolls, assembled in a stand to display the artfully assembled ingredients. Our Hand Roll bar is free-flowing a-la-carte, and includes a full Vegetarian and Gluten-Free menu, as well as individual nigiri. Check out the full MENU for more.

Hand rolls are popular in Japan and have only recently made their way to the States via New York City. We couldn’t think of a better place to debut them than Fishtown, a neighborhood named for the people who help put food on our plates.

To accompany our food, we’ve assembled a curated Sake and Drink Menu featuring rare and interesting selections from Japan’s finest brewers. If you’re new to sake, try one of our flights or let our staff guide you in the right direction. Or check out one of our Japanese whiskys or shochus if you’re feeling the stronger stuff.

Most importantly – relax, enjoy, and let us create an amazing experience for you.

Walk-Ins are always welcome at the Hand Roll Bar & Table Seating, and we have Happy Hour from 5-7pm every day!

We were able to get a seat at the hand roll bar without a reservation. The service was outstanding with helpful recommendations. My friend and I tried the 2 u-maki sets and 2 additional rolls: the miso black cod and scallop uni ikura. Everything was delicious and so fresh. So happy Yuhiro has joined our neighborhood!

A great omakase addition to the city! Yuhiro is one of the more affordable ones, serving 12 pieces of nigiri for $68. Each piece features a fresh bite of fish carefully made. A good pick for a date night spot, it’s byob and has plenty of neighborhood parking. They also have an a la carte menu if the 12 pieces don’t fill you up!

The seafood is very fresh and the atmosphere is perfect in its minimalism. A great selection of traditional style maki and hand rolls (great toro and mackerel) and more inventive modern takes with mango and avocado. The crab is wonderful. It’s real and fresh. The music is calming and soft so you can actually have a conversation as you eat. I highly recommend this place. BYOB for now which makes it a great deal.

I'm thrilled to have a restaurant like Yuhiro in the neighborhood. The service at Yuhiro was excellent, and the laid-back, minimalistic yet sophisticated ambiance added to the overall experience. If you've never tried omakase before due to the typically high price point, this is a great opportunity to do so at a more reasonable cost. I've dined at Yuhiro twice before, and both experiences were fantastic. The restaurants quality fish is flown in from Japan, and the omkase experience is truly exceptional for the price! thank you yuhiro!

I can only say that people never been to a decent omakase would like this. Rice is cold and hard, fish is cut up in advance and not fresh, and I just hated the salmon with mayo on top. Also I had stomach ache after. Is was just so disappointing. Never go there again.

🍣 I had an amazing culinary journey at Yuhiro Sushi Omakase in Fishtown! 🌟 Located at 2146 E Susquehanna Ave, Philadelphia, PA, this gem is a must-visit. 🎉 We were in Philly last week and couldn't resist diving into their 12-course omakase feast! 🍱 From the indulgent fatty tuna belly infused with truffle magic 🍣✨ (truffle fans, rejoice!) to the delightful burst of flavor in the Japanese salmon roe 🍣🐟, and the sweet sensation of the salmon tomato, every bite was a taste bud adventure! Post the omakase extravaganza, we explored the a la carte menu, sampling the wagyu beef, uni, scallop, and ikura. 🍣🥩🍣 A must-try combo with an explosion of deliciousness and diverse flavors! Don't miss out on their handrolls - a more budget-friendly option! 🌯 Our top picks were the tofu skin, tamagoyaki, and yellowtail - each bite a flavor-packed delight! 🌈 Cap off your meal with the heavenly Monaka ice cream 🍦🍡 - an ice cream cone wafer filled with vanilla goodness. A perfect sweet ending! 🍨 Priced at $68, the omakase might seem a bit steep, but for a sushi aficionado like me, the experience is absolutely worth it! 🍣❤️ Food: 🔟/🔟 Affordability: 5️⃣/🔟 Ambiance: 9️⃣/🔟 If you love sushi and crave a top-notch experience, Yuhiro Sushi Omakase is the place to be! 🍣🥢✨
